How can Relate Family Counselling Help?
All families are unique and have unique problems, but our counsellors are experienced relationship experts and are specially trained to work with families to help people resolve their problems
What will happen?
Relate Family Counsellors don't take sides and won't tell you what to do. They will explore with the family the interpersonal relationships and work with you to move away from the problems
Before beginning Relate Family Counselling, you will have an initial consultation. Following that you set up appointments with the counsellor that everyone can attend. The counsellor might suggest that family members sometimess come alone or in smaller groups or bring other relatives to come to some sessions
What we expect from you
Once counselling begins we ask that you keep your appointments. If you do have to cancel we ask you to give us as much notice as possible, so we can offer the appointment to someone else
How much will it cost?
Relate Family Counselling is currently a subsidised service and in some circumstances sessions may be available free of charge
